Do you need a bill of sale for a vechicl you are purchasing to be notarized in the state Florida?

Having the the bill of sale notarized is not required, but the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FHSMV) department recommends that bills of sale be notarized for vehicles, and it’s a good idea for the purchase of any significant asset. Completed bills of sale should be submitted to the tax collector for your county.

What is a VIN Verification?

The form requires the notary public, to certify that a physically inspection of the vehicle was conducted and found that the VIN number is identical to the number recorded on the form.
